Sound Heart Conference
Khalid Bin Al Walid Mosque presents the Sound Heart Conference, an annual Islamic conference bringing together scholars, families, youth, and the wider community for beneficial knowledge, reminders, worship, and meaningful community experiences.
About Sound Heart Conference:
Sound Heart Conference is an annual Islamic conference organized by Khalid Bin Al Walid Mosque. For more than two decades, the conference has created opportunities for Muslims to come together, learn from scholars, strengthen their connection with Allah, and spend meaningful time with the community.
The conference addresses topics that affect our faith, character, families, relationships, and everyday lives. The goal is not simply to listen to lectures, but to leave with beneficial knowledge that can lead to meaningful change.
Sound Heart welcomes adults, young adults, youth, families, students, and community members from across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond.
Theme of this Year’s 2026 SOUND HEART CONFERENCE:
READY FOR CHANGE?
Become Who Allah Wants You to Be.
Stronger Iman • A Calmer Heart • A Better Life.

READY FOR CHANGE?
This year’s Sound Heart Conference asks an important question: Are we ready for change?
Allah says: “Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.” Qur’an 13:11.
Throughout the weekend, speakers will explore the changes that begin within the heart and affect the way we worship, think, behave, and live. The conference will encourage attendees to examine where they are today, identify what may be holding them back, and take practical steps toward becoming who Allah wants them to be.
Our hope is that attendees leave with stronger iman, a calmer heart, greater clarity, and practical reminders they can carry into their lives after the conference ends.
A LEGACY THROUGH THE YEARS
For more than two decades, Khalid Bin Al Walid Mosque has brought scholars, families, youth, and community members together through Islamic conferences and community programs.
Sound Heart Conference has welcomed generations of attendees for lectures, prayer, learning, conversations, and memorable moments together. These photographs offer a glimpse into that history and the community that has helped Sound Heart grow throughout the years.
